Empty pockets and mention stains
Remove tissues, coins and other objects. Point out stains, damage and any products you have already used to treat the garment.
Keep special-care items separate
Hand-wash, dry-clean-only and no-tumble-dry items do not belong in a standard wash-and-fold bag.
